The Powermix Plus Wide Body is the flagship of the Shelbourne Reynolds range, designed for the largest herds and most demanding users feeding 100t or more a day.
The twin auger & tandem sprung axle machine with a short chassis for maneuverability and a curved tub shape for more efficient bale processing and faster mixing times, the Powermix Plus Wide Body is available in four models from 22m³ – 30m³
The 22m³ Powermix Plus is a compact twin auger diet feeder available in a sprung tandem axle configuration, it has a capacity of approximately 11,000kg depending upon the dry matter of the feed. Its overall size remains compact with its height of 2.9m and max width of 2.8m at the top of the tub. The tractor requirement would be from 140HP.
Dispensing is taken care of by a new webbing conveyor system incorporating increased roller diameters and uprated food-grade belting. The new conveyor is 800mm wide and, coupled with a larger door, has been designed to allow significantly faster feedout rates, particularly when feeding fresh grass in zero grazing systems.
