The 400 Series hedge and verge cutter range has been developed & designed to suit the needs of farmers, contractors and Councils. Key features such as booms have been designed with quality and strength in mind from the larger HD models, whereas weight has been saved in areas to suit smaller tractors without compromise.
Two models are available – 450 5.0m Fixed boom machine & 457 5.7m Fixed boom machine.
The 450 trimmer is fitted with a fixed boom giving a maximum reach of 5.00M. Light enough to be compatible with smaller tractors but strong enough to do a hard day’s work. Designed as a base entry level trimmer where the end user can tailor the machines specifications with a variety of options to suit their individual operation.

The 50hp system runs with high oil pressure with a low flow rate which equates to constant power to the flail.
The two side top-links create a framework to helps to stabilize the offset weight of a trimmer when fitted to the tractors 3 point linkage.
A drawbar stabilizer is also included as an additional link to the 3 point.
The cable control arm rest replaces the tractor arm rest and fits to most modern tractor seats.
The power slew feature provides break back protection to the arm & head. This also allows the head to be positioned behind the tractor for transport.
The parallel geometry helps the operator control the head angle whilst operating the lift & reach functions.
Premium quality double skinned belt drive 1.2m head. The head is attached to the boom via a slide/clamp mounting system so can either be centre mounted or offset.
Full LED lights provide longevity & good visibility to oncoming traffic.
The parking stands provide good stability when the trimmer is statically parked.
The fork lift brackets allow to easy movement of the trimmer when not attached to a tractor.
This allows easy adjustment of the roller position.
